Magarini Mangrove Community Forest Association (MMCFA) is a registered grass roots community association dedicated to the sustainable management, restoration, and protection of mangrove forests along the Magarini coastline in Kilifi County, Kenya. We operate under the Kenya Forest Service (KFS) participatory forest management framework, bringing together local community members who depend on mangrove resources to promote conservation, sustainable utilization, and improved livelihoods.
To conserve, restore, and manage mangrove ecosystems in partnership with stakeholders for ecological balance, improved livelihoods, and sustainable community development.
